NFS

What is a NFS server?  I am wanting to find a way to be able to get my AS/400 
on the
network other than TCP/IP (which it is).  I'm on V3R7M0 and when I do a STR* I 
see
a command STRNFS.  I started all servers but couldn't see my AS/400 on the 
network.

I tried \\S1032371 but that didn't find anything.

Is NFS something else then?
