Dave,

Is your problem in both wrists or just one?  If it's just in your dominant
hand, you may find that one of the best solutions is to switch your mouse to
your non-dominant hand.  Granted it's a pain to make the switch and learn to
use that hand with the mouse, but for me it made a huge difference.  My
problem is chronic tendonitis rather than carpal tunnel, but I'm told that
the response is about the same.

Feeling what might be the onset of carpal tunnel, I am looking for
alternative ways to code.  Has anyone found a speech recognition product to
be effective in reducing the use of one's wrist whilst coding ?  Yesterday I
purchased L & H Voice Express Professional V5.0, which I will evaluate for
14 days before deciding whether to bring it back to Comp USA.  I would have
tried IBM's product ViaVoice first, except it doesn't run on Windoze 2K, and
that' s what I've got.
