  • Subject: Saving to a SAVF

I am trying to find an alternate way to save our *ALLUSR libraries.  We don't have a night time operator on site and if there is a problem with the tape drive during our backups there isn't anyone at the location to deal with the tape drive. When morning comes and we discover what has happened it is to late to start another backup.  We would like to save to disk first, and then save the SAVF to tape during the day when the operator is there. However, I don't know if there is a way around the single library limitation when using SAVLIB with a *SAVF.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

TIA,

Fred
