Out Blue Iris editor did all that. It also had unlimited undo/redo, 
keyboard macros, clipboard commands, command chaining (more than one 
command on the command line), convert upper/lower case -- all without those 
annoying line numbers, so that what you saw on the screen in column 32 or 
58 or whatever was actually the real RPG column.

Ahh... but the editor only ran on the S/36. It sold a little on the 36, but 
we really only made money on it when it was ported by Universal Software to 
Unix to run under their Open/36 product. It's a strange world.

BTW, Julian Monypenny has a full-blown editor for the AS/400 with the 
features you mentioned (I don't know if he ever released it, though), and 
there are some other green screen editors on the market besides SEU.
