Larry,

Thank You for the detailed definition concerning Phase vs. Legs.  I have never 
had it explained so clearly in laymen terms.  I have experienced a deltec ups 
loose one leg of power and go to battery for just the one leg while the other 
leg was still supplied from the power company.  This shut down a F50, hard.  
The other 220v UPS did not loose any power.  None of the 110 circuits of the 
deltec hiccuped, but the one 220 circuit went totally out of sync.  Deltec sent 
out a repair man who replaced the logic board.
