Eric,

I do not think that NetServer will start automatically on a V4R3 system.
We start ours in our QSTRUP program with this line:

 CALL PGM(QZLSSTRS) PARM('0' X'00000000')

Also, we had a similar problem with the exit point. It was because our
QGPL and QUSRSYS were "back-leveled". Do a GO LICPGM option 10 and see if
they show up in error. You have to contact IBM for help on resolving this
problem.

Hope this helps.

We've been noticing that Netserver is not being started after we do
an IPL. According to documentation, it should automatically start
when SBS QSERVER is started (we're on V4R3 currently, model 640). I
searched for joblogs, but all I could find is that *something* is
issuing an ENDPJ for QZLSFILE in QSYS.

Note: this has never been critical before, so I don't know if it
ever worked correctly. I'd bet money that it has always been broken
     on our machine.....

On a side note, I also discovered that our 170 devo box is missing
at least one exit point. The missing exit point is:

     QIBM_QJO_DLT_JRNRCV

Currently, CLEANUP is not able to delete old system journals,
though they can be removed manually by specifying *IGNEXITPGM. This
is not a show-stopper, but I am rather curious why this exit point
was never registered. Anyone seen this one before?

     tia,
