I know of several that still have listings in various AS/400 directories like
from the trade press each year --- AS/400 yellow pages, one of the places I
went to IBM school last year was also in this business ... there are a couple
we use intermittently for some stuff that is not on IBM maintenance (eg. old
work stations no longer economically supported by IBM maintenance) & there's
another that I drive past on way to work & it still has their name on the
building. When I got my home PC upgraded, the place I selected was one that
supports internal wiring for both AS/400 & builds PCs & I thought their web
site on Y2K was extremely well done. These kind places obviously still exist
but their marketing seems to have died down in intensity, perhaps because I
am such a hard sell & now have voice mail that does not get answered for many
cold calls.
