That's what keyed queues are for. Use the job number as the key value. The
server batch
job can determine the sender's job number from the sender information
associated with a
data queue or the sender can provide

For example;
        INPUTQ non-keyed with sender data

        OUTPUTQ 6-byte key

or

        INOUTQ with 6-byte key with sender data

In both cases:
                Sender uses key of zero to enqueue
                Receiver uses key of zero to dequeue
                Receiver uses job number from sender data to enqueue
                Sender uses own job number to dequeue

You could also include the job number as part of the data enqueued by the
sender.

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
