Philip,

I assume you have already created the folder for Midrange-L.

Also, that we are talking about Outlook 2000, not Outlook Express 2000.
They are different beasts.

From your Inbox, select a Midrange message. Now click the "Organize" button
in your toolbar (it is also on the "Tools" menu).

The "Create a rule" should say "to move messages <from>
owner-midrange-l@midrange.com into <Midrange-L (your folder)>. Now click
the "Create" button. You will get a dialog "apply to everything"...select
yes.

You now have it. This is how I set my Outlook 2k up and it works
great..both at work and home.

A bit off subject, but with a hundred MIDRANGE-L messages coming in a day, I
am unsuccessfully trying to file them in their own folder using "Outlook
2000 Rules Wizard." I have many rules and use them daily, but having
trouble identifying MIDRANGE-L messages.

I have tried "sent to people or distribution list" and now using "specific
words in the recipients address" (i.e. MIDRANGE-L). Both rules work when
you "run this rule now," but not automatically "as message arrives." The
same logic works fine with MAPICS-L.

Anyone else having any trouble? or have another thought?
