I would like to be able to connect a large (31" or larger) screen monitor to a regular dumb terminal.  Connection to the terminal is twinax.  I will also be connecting a barcode reader to the terminal.  Anyone done this or know how to?  What equipment, etc.?

Being a dumb guy, I like to use dumb terminals when working at a command line.  I prefer the 24 F keys, and I use the format of the keyboard as a cue as to which kind of a workstation I am working on (dumb terminal [the smart work to work] or PC [the way to play]).

I use a 3489 (pancake) which allows a hookup to any PC monitor you want.  It comes with a dumb keyboard, which is what I like, and optionally a mouse.  The mouse works well if you are one of the three people in the world that know how to use it on a dumb terminal.
