How do I go about duplicating a tape in BRMS.

I know you do a DUPMEDBRM.

But I want it to do it automatically. Why do they make you put in the to volume by name?
I have wrote a CL to get around this.

But now I want to save the media information to the duplicated tape(otherwise the tape won't even know about itself).  But there is no option on the savmedibrm to specify what tape.

What I tried to do is leave the tape in the drive but when you specify *medcls the stupid thing tries to evenly use both of my 3590 drives so it throws a tape in the other one and saves it to that.

How is everyone else doing duplicating there tapes?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
