I can't recall which version of BIND the 400 emulates, but I can tell you
that it will NOT act as a DNS server in a W2K environment -- at least not
one that accepts DDNS updates. However, I wouldn't try that anyway, use
Active Directory integrated DNS in W2K and be done with it. The 400 will
have no problems querying W2K DNS servers, it just can't act as a DNS
server.

I can not find any documentation anywhere regarding
if the 400 uses BIND with their DNS and if so, what version?
And if not, will it be available in the future?
We will probably be going with WIN2K for our maintenance
DNS and there are questions regarding dynamic DNS on the 400s.
All help is greatly appreciated.
