Been watching this for several days now.  And must admit I'm on Hans's side.

It does NOT matter if people are correct in their fear of Cookies & Java.
The bottom line is that it has become an issue.

If you use these features in your WebSite and your site depends on them,
then you will loose customers.  The question then becomes how many customers
can you afford to loose?

It is like plug-ins.  I hate them.  And will NOT load them.  Why?  Because
most of the time they don't work.  The rest of the time they screw my
machine up.  If your site requires a plug in, you will not have me as a
customer.  That is my decision. You must decide if you want me as a
customer.

PS: There are no cookies, frames, java script, or anything but crude HTML &
pictures of my Basset Hounds at my personal site.  Yet my "Customers"
(Fellow dog lovers) love my site.  You don't need that stuff.
