Pascal,

As I mentioned briefly before you can always consider the ASNA products to
Web-enable your AS/400 applications if you are looking for more than just
using the AS/400 as a homepage server.

Also the Visual RPG developed applications can be client server as well and
you can access the AS/400 database or a copy of that on a PC or NT Server
with very little program changes.

So you can sell you application to lots of different people !!

 << File: ATT00003.htm >> << Message: 5250 to HTML Converter >> Thanks Jon,

I've got the answer from Janet, and I'm on with a new contract: get
a new face for our applications until we can migrate them off the AS400.
But we could still use the HTML interface for the AS400's objects.

And just to keep you informed of our projects, we have put the migration
project on hold. I'm now looking forward to setup an intranet to
eventually
get the AS400 connected to the web. So if anybody has some information to
gather about the setup process feel free to write to me!!

BTW I'm using the "e-business 101" pages from IBM's website. I'm not a
netwrok administrator, I just got out of school and still making my way
through the as400 madness. So If you got any recommendations about a good
tutorial on the AS400 web serving capabilities, including Websphere(which
I'm trying to figure out what it does or how should I use it), servlets,
JSPs, or any tool related to the web, JUST LET ME KNOW!!!

Thanks to you all and especially Jon and Janet !
