You had me going there for a minute, Gary...
02/20/39 = Feb 20 2039, 02/18/80 = Feb 18 1980.
2039 - 1980 = 59.

The range of *MDY is 1940 - 2039, so if you want 39 to mean 1939,
you have to use dates with 4-digit years.
