Set up SNADS between the two machines. Test with the
command SNDNETMSG.
WRKSPLF *ALL, Press F21 and select intermediate mode.
Put a 1 in front of every entry, but do NOT press enter
until all entries are selected, and still wait until you
finish reading.
After you've selected all entries, but before you press
enter, type the following at the command line:
TOUSRID((user newsys)) DTAFMT(*ALLDATA)
Now you can press enter. I hope that wasn't too hard to
understand. If you come from a grey screen background
versus a green screen, then you're just not used to that
kind of efficiency. For example there is no like function
in Operations Navigator.

Subject: Copy/Move spool between systems

Hello all,

I'm moving all data from one AS/400 to a new one in a new location.
( via backup/restore ).

I want to transfer all spool files ( and the spool it self also ) from
the old to the new system.

Is this possible? How to?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Paulo Costa
