Accessing the text only would be done with the Get Spooled File Data
(QSPGETSP I think) API.  Now, you won't be able to access the text only.
There's a lot of other control characters and hex codes in there as well.
And, there are a bunch of formats with this API.  The layout of the data
also depends on the type of spooled file, *SCS, *AFP, etc....
