Hello Jerry,

STRISDB has always been part of ADTS. It gets into QSYS as part of the
RSTLICPGM
process. If you don't have ADTS installed you won't have STRISDB. However,
You can
use STRDBG to debug OPM programs if compiled with OPTION(*SRCDBG | *LSTDBG) and
if you
specify OPMSRC(*YES) on the STRDBG command** This has been supported since
VRM410 and
possibly VRM370.

I expect STRISDB to be stabilised so you should get familiar with STRDBG or one
of the
client-side debugging tools.

**More dumb design. Why they didn't simply make the OPMSRC keyword default to
*PGMDEP
like the DSPMODSRC keyword is beyond me. Better still would be to not require
a
special OPM keyword and just use the DSPMODSRC keyword. That would have kept
the
behaviour consistent with both OPM programs without source debug information
and ILE
program behaviour.

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
