Yes. You should use TelNet 5250e protocol. This gives you the possibility to
create a Device instead of a Remote OUTQ. Working with a "Device" you have
better control of the Printer.
In order to work with TelNet5250e protocol, you need either a Print Server
supporting this protocol (there are many vendors that sell Print Server with
Telnet5250e support) or you can also use a software solution called
Net-2000. This software is a TCP/IP solution that gives you a powerful 5250
emulator, a useful FTP appliation, + a complete support of the Printer
session in Telnet5250e mode.
