The subsystem monitor job is routed to the *BASE pool (Pool ID 1). The jobs
that run in the subsystem are routed to the *INTERACT or the *SPOOL pool
(Pool ID 2).

This routing is determined by the routing entry defined in the subsystem
object and the routing data defined on the job description object.

A routing entry is selected by comparing the routing entry data located on
the job description to the routing entry description in the subsystem. The
special value of *SYS is used for subsystem monitor jobs (type SBS) and
indicates that the job attributes were defined by the system and did not
come from a job description. The result being that the subsystem monitor
jobs are routed to POOL ID 1.

Subject: Question about subsystem pools

In the subsystem description for QINTER, it shows as
 Pool Storage Activity
  ID Size (K) Level
   1 *BASE
   2 *INTERACT

Shouldn't this subsystem only go into *interact?

Also, my QSPL sbsd shows:

 Pool Storage Activity
  ID Size (K) Level
   1 *BASE
   2 *SPOOL

Again, shouldn't this just be *spool?

Anyone have any ideas?

Regards,
Stuart
