We used to have that problem, but it resolved itself somewhere along the
way.

First, make sure you've got all the latest PTF's loaded that relate to
Domino, then also get all the ones you can find that relate to SMTP or MSF,
even if they're not Domino specific.

We also had a problem with mail not getting delivered at all, but ending up
in the
/QBM/UserData/LOTUS/SMTPMTA/DEADLETTER  directory.

You might want to check and see if you have files there.  If so, you may
not only have mail that is late, but also not delivered at all.

We went round and round with Lotus on that one & finally got a couple of
hotfixes that helped (but haven't completely eliminated the problem), it
may also have been these fixes that took care of the late delivery problem.
