Has anyone configured and used the Operations Console with the Remote Control
Panel feature? I'm particularly interested in a configuration with a LCS
(Local Controlling System) and a RCS (Remote Controlling System). What
hardware/software did you use? With this config, can you do anything remotely
that you could do if you were physically at the AS400?

How about security concerns!!!???? The documentation I looked at showed dialup
modem connections between the LCS/RCS and that makes me nervous, giving the
world direct dialup to a console and the control panel on my AS400 (John, any
experience with this?). Has anyone tried this using LAN or leased line
connections between the LCS/RCS (that would seem to me to be much safer)?

TIA,
Glenn Birnbaum
