Just completed a 4.3 to 4.4 upgrade on a 620-2180. Went very smooth and even
added SQL as part of upgrade. Follow the Installation Manual/Installation
PTF letters/Readme instructions thoroughly and you should be good to go. I
think there were some specifics about 4.2 to 4.4 which didn't apply to me
that I saw but didn't pay any attention too. Just be sure to follow through
on the PTF upgrade notification letters (sorry don't have the individual #s,
just get SF98420 and read for the upgrade letters). The main thing is just
to go through the manual cleanly and finish the Tasks. Took me 5 hours to
complete, including a SAVSYS; most of the time I was just swapping CD-ROMs.
You'll probably need to check for non-Cume Hi-Per PTFs.
We have JDE 7.3 and no problems there.

Subject: upgrade from 4.2 to 4.4

Have an AS/400 620 - 1 processor. I run JDEdwards (8.1.2) on it. Has
anyone run into any problems w/ the 4.4 upgrade. I'm not doing anything
extra like adding drives or disk part.

Any tips would be appreciated..
