IKTAN, but actually the Java compiler on the AS/400 (taking Java source
code into Java bytecodes/classfile) is the same Sun "javac" compiler
shipped with the JDK.  Interestingly, the compiler itself is written in
Java, so it's the classic "bootstrap" testcase. 

Now, we do have a Java "transformer" that converts the bytecodes to
AS/400 native code, and we have a great JIT we've ported that came out
of the research division.
