We are using v4r4 operating system on the as/400 with
client access express. The problem is we can copy and
paste any file to a folder on the QDLS directory.
Authority is set to Rwx for the user.

Object . . . . . . . . . . . . : /qdls/pricing
Owner . . . . . . . . . . . . : QPGMR
Primary group . . . . . . . . : *NONE
Authorization list . . . . . . : *NONE

              Data --Object Authorities--
User Authority Exist Mgt Alter Ref
*PUBLIC *RWX X X X X
QPGMR *RWX X X X X

But when we try to save directly to the folder I
receive a Microsoft Excel error file that the file
already exists do you want to replace it? We click
yes, then we get an error that the folder is read
only. We know the file is not there when we start.
If
We go to the folder a empty file is there after these
messages. The drive is mapped to the pc.

Any help would be graetly appreciated.

Mike Poweleit
