  • Subject: PTP dialup (PPP) to AS/400

It appears that if you create the PTP dialup with OpsNav then you can only
modify it with OpsNav. If you create it with green screens from CRTLIND,
CRTCTLxx, and WRKTCPPTP then you can edit it from same. OpsNav creates the
line, ctl, dev needed for TCP/IP dialup. I believe you have to do each one
if you are doing it from a green screen. Does this jive with anyone's
experience?

If you create it with OpsNav and you try to view or edit it with a green
screen you get a msg that says that you can only edit/modify/view this
config with Oops Nav. The msg is not an error msg just simply informational.

Yes, you can vary it on/off and check status (RINGW) but you can't create
or modify it in my experience.
