There are a number of third party utilities to assist you, SPLTOOL is one at
http://www.bvstools.com.

But if the 400's are can communicate to each other, you can SNADS them over
via SNDNETSPLF.

Just one thought, there are many others involving more complex processes.

Subject: Spooled files

I know this has been addressed before. I want opinions from those who have
had
to do this before, please.

I have a customer who has literally hundreds of spooled files in her
printques
on her old AS/400. She wants these all transferred to the new AS/400. Is
it
possible to do this in one lump as well as recreate all her outques and
printques in one lump?

I know I'm asking the impossible, but if anyone has advice or opinions to
share,
I'd truly be grateful!!

Thanks in advance,

Michele R
