RE: AS400 to AS400 connections

If they both are on the LAN then you can use the LAN to connect SNA.  In the
past we used V.35 SDLC line and a modem eliminator from black box.  A null
modem cable will also work but trickier to setup.  One machine must provide
the clocking where with a modem eliminator the eliminator provides the
clocking.  If you need a more detailed solution just ask online and I will
post our LAN config for you.

My organization recently got another AS400 that will be sitting in the
same room as our production machine. I want to use pass-thru to connect
them. What physical connectivity do I need to establish between them? Do I
need a card and a proprietary cable?
