With the AS/400 you can afford to spend a little time in the sand, after
all there are no security snafu's like the Win2000 fiasco a few weeks
ago. 
As for data base applications, there is little or no data base server
administration on the AS/400 compared to the mountains of work it takes
to keep the BSOD at bay with WinXXX.
Take the average AS/400 and the average NT box and compare uptime. NT is
a cute little OS, but nowhere near as solid as OS/400 never has been and
never will.
