Hi Eric,

You can use selective prompting, from memory:

? chgusrprf ??usrprf() ??password() ?*usrcls() ?*spcaut()

The ?? will show the parameter and allow input, the ?* will show the
parameter but not allow input.

Its all under f13 on the prompted command display i.e. type chgusrprf and
press f4, then press f13 - you have to scroll quite a bit.

HTH

Alan

Subject: Enable User Profile Program

Yesterday, I actually compiled a CL program with only one command -
CHGUSRPRF.

My purpose was to allow the operators to enable disabled user profiles,
instead of coming to me. The adopted authority worked, but because the
value for parameter USRPRF is a variable value, I inserted a ? before
CHGUSRPRF in the CL program to prompt the operator to enter the desired
user profile name. However, this presented a problem, the other parameter
were shown and could be altered by the operator (the operators are running
this program under the adopted authority of the QSECOFR, which poses a big
security loophole). How, then could I resolve this problem?

Your valuable inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Rgds,
Eric
