  • Subject: sending e-mail to local recipients

Yesterday I got excited and downloaded the Byteware code for sending spooled
files via e-mail. It's very simple and straightforward. I followed the
instructions and was able to do it--sort of.

I'm able to send e-mail using snddst to addresses outside of my local
network, or putting it another way, addresses external to our NT mail
server. I can send something to my e-mail at home but not to myself at
work. I thought about pitching my daughter as a consultant to forward
e-mailed reports at a reasonable piece rate, but decided against it.

I followed the Byteware configuration instructions, and I've triple checked
the settings. I suspect that this is something that I could solve by
reading the manual, but if anyone knows something simple I may have
overlooked, I'd be very grateful.
