Larry:
Acsend Software has an AS400 version of PKZIP. It works on PF and I'm not
sure if it works on the IFS.
Good luck.

Subject: How can I zip a file on the IFS

I have a savefile I am placing on my AS/400 IFS each night for shipping to
another system. Anyone have any idea how to zip it from the AS/400? I have
been doing it manually from my PC but I would like to automate the process.

Thanks,

Larry
