Check out Spooled File Tools (SPLTOOL) at:
http://www.bvstools.com/spltool.html

It'll do want you ask via folders, IFS, or FTP and retain spacing.  Can send
to .txt, .doc, .html and soon .pdf (in a later release).

Very inexpensive, and great support.  (but I'm biased.)  I have testimonials
