No to the first part, and IMHO (because I use ILE/C daily, as opposed
to infrequently for ILE/RPG) yes to the second part.

: Do you have a set of procedures that "wrapper" the API's?

This is one of the reasons I tend to not use ILE/RPG, before you can
use some things, you have to create the procedure prototypes. I don't
have ILE/RPG wrappers for all the DSM API's, but I'm sure some one on
the list does...
