Calling programs from programs in SSP is a pain in the butt. It really is
an add-on, added well after the introduction of the AS/400. You will want
all your formats in one source member; it makes a lot of your troubles go
away.

You will also need to rename every file used more than once. The OCL is a
mess because of it.

I'm going through this right now. I'm looking at the idea of doing the
new work on the native side and reaching the data through DDM.

        Subject: *M36 calls (RPG II)

I'm at a client using the *M36. I created an inquiry program that I'm
calling. Both are WORKSTN programs.

When returning to the original program and an attempt is made to output
a
screen format an error is received (SYS-1301 or 1304?)

  What are the limitations?

I made it work by putting the called program's screen format into the
first program's screens. Is there any way around this? TIA.
