Rob,

    I remember on the CISC machines, you could go into SST for some tape
statistics, and it would keep how much data was written to each volume.
THen if
you knew the size of the tape volume, you knew approximately how much was
used.
It was pretty accurate.  I just tried looking for this on a RISC box and I
cant
find it in SST.

    Perhaps this may act as a clue for someone else, where did the tape
statistics go?
