archiving spool files on CDROM w/index -- MIDRANGE-L

× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I have a 17,000 page report in an outq that needs to be archived on CDROM
with some kind of an indexing/search system.

I propose to do a copy spool file on the AS/400 and then transfer that file
to a pc where I can burn it onto a CDROM.  

What about the indexing system?  Anyone done this before and have a
recommendation.

How about my plan.  Been there done that?
