I haven't read my maintenance contract recently but I suspect installing non-IBM
parts that you are not even sure if the voltages, speed and other parameters are
compatible will execute the WARRANTY *VOID command and likely MAINTENANCE
*CANCELLED followed closely by BUDGET *BLOWN and worst case the RESUME *UPDATE
command as well.  Or it might just work - Your choice.

Understand that I don't believe that the memory for these things should be 
priced
where it is or take so long to get, but on the other hand it is guaranteed to
work, is installed by IBM and I have never seen any fail.
