Phil:

Product information messages are fine, as long as they are addressing a 
specific question or problem that a person has.

For instance: If someone says they are trying to solve XYZ problem, and a 
vendor has a product that will solve XYZ problem, they are allowed and 
encouraged to suggest it.

Unsolicited product announcements and advertisements are not allowed.

Keep in mind, this is a technical forum for finding solutions to problems.
