You may wish to check out our ShowMe/400 tool.  You interrogate your data, using
either your transactional or data mart type data very quickly and easily 
generate
reports, inquiries, or files.  You can link these inquiries together, thereby
creating drill downs.

    You can then convert these queries to fully documented RPG/DDS. We have 
taken
3 hour AS/400 Queries, and ran them in minutes after writing them in ShowMe,
without killing the machine.  With the RPG conversion our customers tell us they
can do 4 to 5 days of programming in a 1/2 day!
