Is this app always printing to the "same" printer that uses HPT ???
HPT is controlled at the device level, so override is unlikely.

About the only way they could overide the option is change the device
description, but that's highly unlikely. An OVRPRTF does not appear to
have an override to HPT or wscst, so I don't really understand how the
app could be doing it... Try following the job using option 5 on 
wrkusrjob and see if you can see if any ovrprtf are occurring. Make
the CLP log the job in detail and you might glean a little more
information.

This on again off again seems a little strange.. Is it always the "same"
app that does this ??
