Larry:

I attended a V4R3 Tech Solutions course at our distributor w/IBM
Instructors in Feburary 1999, where they handed out the version I Iisted.

I'm showing GA19-5486-16 as the V4R2 System Handbook. Are you saying that
IBM based a V4R3 certification on a V4R2 book? Not that I'd be all that
suprised, just curious. No wonder some of the test material wasn't covered
in the class.

GA19-5486-18 is the one I'm referring to and is for V4R3 and V4R4.
GA19-5486-19 is from August 1999 and is V4R4 only.

There were lots of "tricky" questions regarding disk configurations and
using 100mpbs ethernet on a SPD bus.

Lane,

Carefull on the Version number of the handbook!!! -16 is the correct one
for
the V4R3 test, using newer ones will confuse you with hardware that did not
exist
at the time the test was written and therefore would lead to incorrect
answers on
that version of the test.
