I agree with your comments about "available to promise".  I may have
neglected to mention it in my original message but we fully understand the
implications of late deliveries.  Late deliveries have been known to happen
with normal store orders!

As to your comments about ToysRUs, I think people WILL return to try the
ToysRUs site next Christmas.  ToysRUs has been incredibly up front and frank
about their problems and what they are doing to make sure it doesn't happen
again.  In my experience, if you clearly acknowledge your failures instead
of trying to hide them, people will tend to be somewhat forgiving.  However,
heaven help them if they mess up again next Christmas!
