Fun anecdote;
I was visiting a manufacturing plant(paper fiber) and the IS people we
"Impressing" me with their technology.
They showed me a screen that had graphic pictures of all their machines
running. I said; " do you use touch
screens?" They got a little red in the face and said no they used the
keyboard to run the system.

One of them later "off the side" confided in me that they had just gotten
rid of the touch screen. It seemed that everyone that walked in and saw the
screens "Just had to touch it" and the mill machines were "Shutdown" so many
times by accident they had to get rid of the screen.

Funny huh?

They also showed me how well their "GUI" PC query worked. They did a
simple query joining a couple of transaction files,
Well it was still had the hourglass up (still running) when I left.
