Do an immediate audit of your PC network.  Check for pirate copies of PC 
software and dismiss 
your PC guy!  Send him the bill for the very large fine your company will 
receive if it is 
caught using unlicensed software.

Your PC guy is unprofessional and unethical and I am surprised any professional 
would even 
consider asking such a question.

You haven't paid for an VRM440 upgrade for the 170 so legally you cannot 
upgrade it (besides 
the key codes won't work since they are tied to the system model and serial so 
you'll only get 
70 days of working code).

If you want a copy of VRM440 for the 170 then buy one, don't steal it!

This is as bad as the recent posts about paying for disabled hardware and the 
usual drivel 
about CFINT.  Now I'm off for some of James' horizontal recreation so I can 
tolerate more dross 
in my in-box.
