Re:CCSID 65535 Translation in Client Access Transfer Request -- MIDRANGE-L

× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Try Looking under the file menu at Properties,Conversions.  There is a 
Convert CCSID 65535 check box, you'll have to check the help text and 
determine the correct setting for you particular download.

Seems like the sql interface wants to report a hex field as char, for 
whatever reason.  At least that was the problem we were having working 
with this interface.
