Hi Booth, Jon,

Thanks for the help. I've been using the IP address of my PC. I was starting
the editor then doing the STRCODE. And as you mentioned Booth, I have tried
it with some downloaded programs I've accummulated over the years (used to
use the DOS version of Flexedit).

Today I tried starting the CODE daemon then doing the STRCODE with the same
result. I do have a current library Jon, but I haven't seen any place in the
editor to define servers. The popup menu for the CODE daemon has a define
servers option, and that's empty. There must be some place though, because
when I do a File|Open from the editor, two of the several AS/400's I have
defined in Client Access show up, as SYSA and SYSA/ADM, and SYSB & SYSB/ADM.
None of the others show up.

I'll check out the CODE/400 newsgroup and the CODE support on the web too.
