Is all of this done using the GO SAVE, option 21?

Gary,

This SAV IS the backup for the IFS. Let me qualify that: EVERYTHING is
in the
IFS (since V3.1) BUT the best way to back up the Library file system
(QSYS.LIB)
is with SAVLIB as you are. The best way to back up documents is SAVDLO as
you
are. The rest gets saved with SAV. Theoretically you can backup the entire
system with SAV but it wouldn't provide for a user friendly restore!

This command does EXACTLY what you need. The two *OMITs are excluding
from
this save the Library file system and Documents since those were done by
the
SAVLIB and SAVDLO commands.

It includes all the stuff you are missing now!!! THat is all objects NOT

in
QSYS.LIB or QDLS. Generically this is all of Client Access, Mail,
Configurations
for things like DHCP, DNS, etc. It also includes anything stored in any
user
directories such as might have been placed there via the NetServer or
shared
folders through Client Access.
