Steve,

You can upload a save file from pc to 400, through client access or FTP. All
you need to do is first create a save file on 400 and give access to all,
use either of the two to copy pc save file to as/400 save file.

If you want to use FTP then initiate FTP process from PC to as/400. Then use
the command "PUT" with replace option to transfer the file to as/400. Client
access is really interactive...you can do it.

Good luck,
Anil.

Subject: Uploading a SAVF from a PC without FTP?

Hi,

How can I upload a save file (*SAVF) from a PC to the AS/400 without using
FTP? It seems like all the file transfer commands I found wants to upload
it to a physical file. I can't wait until I am on a network.

Thanks in Advance.
Steve Cross
