I order these on one machine and then send them around to other machines. This
is
the only machine that has an ECS line. Lately that has been very unstable and
I'm
doing more of my ordering via the Internet. (Although I hate not being able to
schedule the PTF ordering.) I don't want IBM cleaning up my save files. If
you want
to clean up yours try:
DLTF QGPL/QMF*
DLTF QGPL/QSF*
RMVM QGPL/QAPZCOVER *ALL

Subject: PTF Save Files - when to delete...

Hi Folks,

As long as we are having the various PTF threads - how 'bout another one
:-)

PTF save files - once a PTF is loaded and applied there is NO reason for
the save file to be kept, correct ? So I can just verify that they are
loaded and delete them ?

Seems like this is basic house cleaning from SOME time back but I don't
recall the particulars and don't find anything in the Basic System
Operations Administration and Problem Handling manual on this.

Why doesn't the system get rid of the save file once it is Loaded or at
LEAST once it is Applied ?

TIA !!

Chuck
